A new name is the least of the changes made to the Charter boat "FORTUNE." The
vessel has two (2) new skippers as Chris Flores and Boogie Shears
take over the helm bringing with them an excellent team of licensed
crewmen and four additional, licensed Captains. The vessel's
Captains have tremendous reputations for catching fish and maintaining
a quality operation. Both Captains are well known in the sportfishing
industry with excellent credentials and a dedication to giving
each charter group the maximum opportunity of catching fish and
having the "Adventure of a Lifetime."
Whether it is a 1/4 day trip to the local kelp beds or a four
(4) day charter chasing Albacore, Blue fin Tuna, Yellow fin Tuna,
Big Eye Tuna, Dorado and Yellowtail, join us on the SAMURAI and
allow the crew make your charter something to tell your friends
about.
The SAMURAI has been remodeled from top to bottom and is now one
of the finest charter boats in the San Diego fleet. All new bunks
have been installed and the bunk room has a new look with new carpet,
individual privacy curtains for each bunk, new and improved lighting,
a modified entrance along with the addition of two double state
rooms, forward. A new air conditioning system has been installed
assuring that you will wake up refreshed and ready to fish.
The restrooms have been completely remodeled and a new hot water
tank has been installed assuring each angler enough hot water to
take a refreshing shower at the end of the fishing day. Additionally,
a water maker has been added to the boat assuring you of ample
water on a three or four day charter.
A new deck has been installed and the bait tank has been moved
2.5 feet forward providing our anglers with additional fishing
space on the stern of the boat. Additionally, a new slammer has
been installed which provides for an additional 80 to 100 scoops
of bait for that really hot bite or a multi day charter.
The galley has been completely replaced with stainless steel wall
covering and appliances. Without question, the SAMURAI now
has the most modern galley in the fleet. All new seating has been
installed for your comfort.
While many of the changes will not enhance your chances of catching
fish, it will give you an indication of our dedication to doing
whatever is reasonably possible to make your time on the SAMURAI
enjoyable. |
